Presenting over a web conferencing platform is always a challenge, because it’s difficult to get your participants to participate! To that end, I begin my webinars with an opportunity to interact, and I chunk my webinars using the 10 and 2 rule: no more than 10 minutes of talking with 2 minutes of interacting/reflecting. This strategy has served me well as my attendees regularly report that they found the webinar to be an active learning experience.
